Join SECC and a Volunteer & Outreach Officer from Canada Revenue Agency for an income tax information session specifically for newcomers. Dari interpretation will be provided.
Topics covered will include:
• Benefits of filing tax returns
• Benefit & credit entitlements (GST/HST, Canada Child Benefit, etc.)
• Disability tax credit and medical expenses
• The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP)
• Scam awareness
