Language Training

Language Traingin from SECC

Day and evening English language courses are offered in a classroom or one-on-one tutoring session. Instructors for classes are TESL certified. Tutoring sessions are offered by screened, knowledgeable volunteers and are accessible Monday to Saturday. The learning experience is enriched with field trips to local sites and weekly conversation circles.

Care for Newcomer Children is provided by trained staff at no cost for eligible students. Learning is facilitated through a child-centred approach that is geared to preparation for the Canadian school system through socialization and age appropriate activities. Age: 19 months to 6 years of age.

Free transportation is available to eligible participants.
