Security Check and Friendly Visitation

Caring, trained volunteers provide telephone reassurance calls or in-home visits to determine individual well-being, promote social connectedness and report concerns for follow-up by SECC staff. Telephone reassurance calls are available up to seven days per week, either in the morning or afternoon.

Fares and Schedule

Visits can be scheduled on a day and time that is mutually convenient to the client and volunteer visitor.

Cost: There is no cost for this service.

Security Check

Your volunteer will call to introduce themselves and identify that they are with the Security Check program. They will call at the same time each day so you know exactly when to expect the call.

Friendly Visitation

Your volunteer will call to introduce themselves and identify that they are with the Friendly Visitation program. Together, you can set up a visiting schedule. They will call before each visit to ensure that you are home.
