Position : Shipping / Receiving Associate

Location: Leamington

Reports to: Logistics Supervisor

Job Purpose:

Active member of a team who is responsible to receive, pack and ship products so they reach their destinations in good condition and on-time.

Job Duties:

  • Coordination of receiving and shipping of products
  • Put away product into storage location until ready for packing
  • Pick and pack customer orders according to company’s standard and operating procedures
  • Assist in booking arrangements via courier, truck and/or airline
  • Delivering orders to local customers
  • Maintaining accurate records of product received and shipped and update system accordingly
  • Ensuring quality of product is maintained throughout the receiving, packing and shipping process
  • Assist in preparation of documentation required for the transportation of goods, including courier labels, AWB, Bill of lading and other documents
  • Working on weekends and other days during the week as required
  • Other duties/responsibilities as required

  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Valid Driving license is a must
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook is an asset

Job Type:  Part time, could lead to Full time

 Hours:  Flexible hours including week ends. Must be willing to be on on-call in case of emergencies

Education and Experience:

Required education: Diploma/Certificate

Required experience: 2 years
