Dear Friend of SECC,

As 2021 comes to an end, I want to take a moment to say thank you for your ongoing support to our organization. We remain dedicated to ensuring clients who have been suffering from the effects of the pandemic get the services they need. Whether that is through online/virtual language classes, grocery gift cards, and even free transportation to vaccine clinics, our community stepped up to make it happen.

During the holidays, and with 2022 quickly approaching, the clients we serve remind me that hope for the future is what our work is all about. Through our Children & Youth Services, Community Home Support Services, Language & Settlement Services, and our Career Hub’s employment and training services, and special projects, we are working together towards our vision of building a stronger community one person at a time.

“You have no idea how much I appreciate [SECC]. A service like this is so needed in the community and I wouldn’t be in the position I am today without the help I’ve received.” – SECC Transportation Client

I am asking you to keep SECC in mind when you’re considering giving back during the holidays. We are always looking for volunteers to support our clients. If you are interested, please reach out to Katie Ouellette, our Volunteer Coordinator at 519-326-8629.

Every dollar donated is invested directly into our programs to allow our clients to thrive. Your contributions support our mission: “Helping people. Improving lives.”

Thank you for your ongoing support and Happy Holidays to you and your family!

Sincerely,

Carolyn Warkentin
Executive Director

Donations can also be mailed in or dropped off at our office.
