The Community Access Program (CAP) provides Canadians with public access to computers and the Internet to increase their capabilities with Information Technology.
Group or one-on-one workshops are available free to individuals wishing to learn more about computers and various software programs. Workshop topics are tailored to meet clients' specific needs such as:
- Introduction to computers and the Internet
- Email usage
- Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Access)
- Website design
- Online job searching
Dependent on funding from Industry Canada, workshops are usually available from October to the end of March. Free access to computers is available year-round in both Leamington and Kingsville offices.
