Provides unemployed people and Ontario Works participants with information, education, and training on a variety of topics to enhance their job readiness and career development.

Who benefits from the program?

Persons who are registered with Ontario Works and participants of the Job
Connect Program.

What is the cost of the program?

There is no cost to participate in the STEPS program.

How do I apply ?

To apply for the STEPS workshops call 326-1873.

What does the program include?

Training, education and information  on proper job search techniques.  All participants receive a certificate upon completion.

Workshop Topics Include:
  • Resume Building
  • Personalities Dimensions™
  • Job Searching using the Internet
  • Employee/Employer Relations
  • Workplace Health and Safety
  • Interview Techniques

Workshops are offered every month and are one week in length.
