AWARD
JC award
In November 2006, the South Essex Community Council received a Minister's Award for Excellence in the Bronze Category for its delivery of the Provincial Government's Job Connect Program. The award recognizes programs that deliver outstanding results in helping those who are unemplyed in planning, preparing and succeeding in the job market. The Job Connect Program makes it easier for businesses to find skilled workers and offers a "hiring incentive' to employers who are willing to train on the job.
