Provides persons with a self-identified disability, a variety of resources and interventions, to prepare for, obtain and maintain employment.

Eligibility

Persons with  a self-identified disability who are:

• Unemployed or underemployed
• Not in school
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Willing and able to accept permanent employment

Cost

There are no costs to participate in our services

• Return to School Action Plan

• Assisted Job Search:
• Paid Placements
• Unpaid Placements
• One to One Counselling
• Assistance with resume
• Identifying strengths and barriers
• Mock interviews
• Identifying potential employers
• Individualized counselling support
  

Computers available for:

• Job search
• Resumes and cover letters
• Sending resumes to potential employers
• Practice computer skills
  

Resources are available regarding:

• Local community agencies
• Securing employment

Access to applications for:

• Provincial subsidy incentive programs
• Training and/or skills upgrading through Provincial programs
