Access Program
The CAP program provides persons in the community at
large with access to computers for training on computer programs and the
Internet in order to increase their capabilities with information
technology.
What does the service include?
Self-referred on-site computer use and
computer instruction. Participants learn at their own pace. Instructors are
available as Industry Canada grants allow.
Group Workshops
Group workshops are offered on an ongoing basis as Industry Canada grants allow.
Workshops cover a variety of topics including Beginner Computer Use, a variety
of Microsoft Office programs, website design and many more. Workshops can be
tailored to meet the needs of most groups and businesses.
Eligibility
An assessment is completed to determine the needs of the
individual.
Cost
A small fee may be charged to cover resource costs.
One-on-one Training
One-on-one tutoring is available to those
individuals whose schedules and/or needs cannot be accommodated within the group
setting. An appointment is set up to assess the abilities of the individual and
a training plan is designed to meet individual needs. This training is offered as Industry Canada grants allow.

There is no cost for this service.
