Diversity and Cultural Competency Training

Over the years the South Essex area has become a multicultural mosaic. German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Karen, Vietnamese, Thai and many other languages can be heard throughout the county. This has created a culturally diverse work force as people look for employment and access workplaces bringing in their own norms and values. To assist employers and employees in understanding the benefits and needs of a diverse work environment, SECC has introduced Diversity Training. This program is free to any business or agency.

Why train your staff?

-To understand the impact of cultural differences.

-To gain a better understanding of the cultural challenges and benefits facing multicultural workplaces and how to address them.

-Provide practical tools to reduce cross-cultural misunderstanding and encourage positive cultural working relationships.

-To meet legislative requirements.

Training Details

– Provided at your work location
